Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist (EMHCE) might be called "the hand of God" because they offer the Body of Christ and his Most Precious Blood to individuals at Eucharistic liturgies. Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist (as they are properly called) must have a deep love and reverence not only for the Body of Christ in the Sacred Elements but also for the body of Christ that stands before them in every man, woman, and child.
Requirements to become an EMHS are as follows:
Individuals must be Confirmed,
Sixteen years or older
Trained and commissioned
If you are interested in serving at 4:00 pm mass on Saturday contact - John Fitzpatrick
